I just saw the work of the photographer Howard Schatz where he captured the relationships of models and their mothers in stunning pictures. You can have a look here

These pictures have been so inspiring and beautiful that I wanted to take MY own pictures.

I want to show with my photos not only the ressemblance of my mother and us sisters. I decided that I wanted to capture the beauty of different ages and of people that are not seen as "perfect".
I want to show our relationships towards the other ones.

In the following photographs I tried to capture how loving my mother is with us and how thankful we are for that and how much we adore her.
On t'aime maman!

In the future, I want to do more campaigns like this and I'm hoping to find more people wanting to step in front of my camera!

Inspiring: Chanel

When it comes to fashion, I adore the style of Chanel. It is definitely one of my favourite brands, if not the one I like the most! I just love how they work with material and cut and most of all, I respect how Coco Chanel made her way in a world that was ruled by men. She is iconic.

So I often try to dress in a way that she would also do. Unfortunately I cannot afford clothes that are designed by Mister Lagerfeld. So, I have to improvise. In these pictures, I am wearing a very Chanel-like jacket by Mango and I am IN LOVE with it. Moreover, I thought that the colours I chose for my outfit, black, red and gold, are very Chanel.

And by the way, I also adore my new shoes!!!!

Classy and comfortable

Hello lovely readers! This summer you might have noticed that A LOT of bloggers wore Birkenstocks. At the beginning I have been very .... well... sceptical about it. They are not the prettiest shoes that exist on the market I guess. But well, as a fashion victim, I had to buy me a pair and what should I say? I love them! They are sooo comfortable and match with so many styles.

And furthermore, they look stunning with my rather classy outfit: leather shorts and denim blouse.
I 'm in love with this combination. The bag by Mango fits perfectly, too.

Just like Michael Jackson

I present to you my lovely and beautiful sister Noemie, who is my model in these pictures.
I think that she has beautiful hair and is perfect just the way she is. As you may notice in this collection, she is a dancer. I wanted to show that in my pictures. I wanted to show the way, she can moove and how she is special just in her own way.

As a former dancer myself, I had to think about Michael Jackson when I took these pictures. He still is an icon, I think, and you can say whatever you want on his lifestyle or his personality, but you cannot deny that he changed a lot in the world of arts.

My sister is wearing a mixture of her own clothes and mine because I wanted that she looked really individual. The hat and the jewelery is vintage whereas the blazer is Mango, the top and the shoes H&M and the trousers.... I actually don't know... let's say vintage too?

But I have to admit... I'm quite proud of these photos... I love the simpicity of the black-and-white-style!
Have a lovely day ♥

Leather, lace and biker boots

There are some things that are timeless. Black is the new black. And in my opinion, this won't change. Black can be elegant but also rock 'n' roll. And I can't have enough pieces in this colour.

"I imposed black; it still going strong today, for black wipes out everything else around" - Coco Chanel

You can say the same thing about leather. I simply can't have enough leather pieces: short, trousers, jackets.

And what should I say about lace? I do not know. Lace is in my opinion incredibly beautiful.
